Fundraising: Planning & implementing new and existing fundraising events, staffing events & booh at Grange Fair, maintaining museum store inventory, selling tickets for events/raffles, helping with Apple Dumplings
Marketing/Public Relations: Promote the museum, publish newsletter, maintain website, design brochures & programs to publicize events, write press releases design advertising campaigns, work with news media
Membership Development: Plan & implement membership banquets & other activities to increase membership

What kind of time commitment can you make?
Several hours a week? Several hours a month? Several hours per year? Perhaps you wish only to work on certain events or activities.
Choose the activities that interest you then contact us for more infomration. Remember, NO EXPERIENCE is required. Training is provided.

Other Opportunities:
Cleaning: Regular cleaning of all areas such as kitchen & restrooms, seasonal cleaning such as windows & cleaning before & after special events.
Clerical: Filing, typing, indexing, computer data entry
Programs/Education: Plan & implement history programs, plan bus tours to historic destinations, assist teachers, assist with group presentations
Exhibits: Work with staff to plan and implement exhibits
Genealogy: Help set up & maintain research library, assist family historians
Building & Grounds: Building maintenance & minor repairs
Collection: Preservation, cleaning, preparing for proper storage, and computer cataloging of artifacts
Historical Research/Publications: Researching for exhibits, researching for publications, assisting outside researchers
Sewing: Light mending of artifacts for preservation, making curtains, table covers, or other simple fabric display projects
